Annual Holiday Lighting of the Greens &

South Florida Trail Riders Jingle Bell Parade

Sunday December 1st at 6.15pm

 

The Town of Davie invites the public to come out and celebrate with them as they begin the holiday festivities in grand style with their spectacular tree lighting ceremony. Come out and see Santa as he arrives by Fire Engine together with a Grand Horse Parade. Watch as the City Hall is lit up with over 200,000 holiday lights and enjoy free refreshments and candy canes fron Santa. The children will be able to enjoy snow play in 20 tons of snow together with bounce houses and wall climbs. There will also be Free Entertainment and a beautiful Nativity Scene complete with live camels! Plan to arrive early since you may have to park and walk a few to get there!

Annual Holiday Lighting of the Greens & South Florida Trail Riders Jingle Bell Parade Location:   Town Hall 6591 Orange Dr., Davie Date: Sunday, December 1, 2013 Admission: Free (Small fee for some activities) Time:  6:15pm Santa arrives by Fire Engine Tree Lighting Horse Parade down Orange Dr. between SW 67th & Rodeo Way Snow Play PICTURES WITH SANTA - Have your picture taken with SANTA in the Town Hall Building, for a small fee, or just visit with the big guy for free!  Free candy canes while supplies last.   REFRESHMENTS - Hot and cold drinks and home made cookies will be served FREE while supplies last.  There will also be food items available for sale.   Free Climbing Wall, Bounce House, & Entertainment TREE LIGHTING - Watch the Mayor and Town Council turn on over 200,000 holiday lights and decorations officially porclaim it Holiday time in Davie.  If you are a school or civic group , sign up to decorate a Tree, Menorah or Kinara of your own! SNOW BLOW - For those of you who miss snow, 20 tons of the “white stuff” will be blown for the enjoyment of the children.  Admission to the Snow Blow is FREE.  There will be two supervised snow play areas:  one for children ages 1 to 5 and another for children ages 6 to 12.  Parents will not be permitted in Snow Play Areas.
