Annual Holiday Lighting of the Greens &

South Florida Trail Riders Jingle Bell Parade

Sunday December 1st at 6.15pm

 

The Town of Davie invites the public to come out and celebrate with them as they begin the holiday festivities in grand style with their spectacular tree lighting ceremony. Come out and see Santa as he arrives by Fire Engine together with a Grand Horse Parade. Watch as the City Hall is lit up with over 200,000 holiday lights and enjoy free refreshments and candy canes fron Santa. The children will be able to enjoy snow play in 20 tons of snow together with bounce houses and wall climbs. There will also be Free Entertainment and a beautiful Nativity Scene complete with live camels! Plan to arrive early since you may have to park and walk a few to get there!

SNOW BLOW - For those of you who miss snow, 20 tons of the “white stuff” will be blown for the enjoyment of the children.  Admission to the Snow Blow is FREE.  There will be two supervised snow play areas:  one for children ages 1 to 5 and another for children ages 6 to 12.  Parents will not be permitted in Snow Play Areas. DOLPHIN MALL'S ICE PALACE & MORE

Tis' the Season to be Jolly and Dolphin Mall located at 

11401 NW 12th Street, Miami, Florida, 33172

is doing just that!

The mall offers several free holiday events with its most exquisite being their Ice Palace presented by Microsoft Windows!

The Ice Palace is currently opened now through December 24th and features a 30 Foot Ice Dome complete with falling snow and larger than life Snow Globes!

Visitors can leave an icy handprint and even sit on the chilly ice throne! The exhibit transports you into an Arctic adventure as you view amazing video footage from BBC's 'Frozen Planet' all through a 360 degree immersion with makes you feel like you are truly in the Arctic circle! 

Children can visit with Santa and receive a free special gift! 

Photos are available for purchase and they even offer special days when you can have your pet photographed with Santa as well! 

Photo schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 12-9pm and Friday and Saturday from 12-10pm with limited breaks daily. 

Pet photo opportunities are available on Wednesday December 4,11 and 18 from 7:30pm!

In addition to the Ice Palace and visit with Santa, Dolphin Mall offers a Magical Snowfall over the Ramblas Plaza every evening at 7:00pm except on November 28, December 24, 25, 31 and January 1st! There will also be a second snowfall at 9:00pm on Thursdays through Sundays with the exception of the above dates as well!

The mall also offers free live weekend concerts at the Ramblas Plaza stage at entrance 3 on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00pm to-12:00am and Sundays from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.Please see the following schedule of entertainers:

BASS PRO SHOPS SANTA'S WONDERLAND



If you are in the South Florida area or if there is a Bass Pro Shop in your town, be sure to stop by this holiday season for free fun for the entire family. I will be featuring the Dania Beach Store at 200 Gulfstream Way, Dania Beach, Florida which is the closest location to where I live, but be sure to check out a location near you for their specific holiday schedule!

Children and families can get their photo taken with Santa FREE of charge! The back ground is beautiful and you get a free 4 x 6 sized photo to take home! If you like the print, you have the option to purchase photo packages and even create Christmas cards online or in-store. Please see the schedule below for the exact time that Santa will be making his grand appearance!

There are also many fun game and activities daily such as crafts, remote control trucks, a laser arcade, moving trains, activity tables and much more

The First 125 kids will recieve a Free backpack clip! 

There will be different crafts on different weeks thoughout the holiday, so you can keep taking the kids back every week for more and more free fun!!

Store associates have advised that Monday through Thursday allows for shorter waiting times for your photo with Santa but on the days with higher crowd volumes they will be offering a Bass Pass which puts you in a virtual line and frees you up to try the other activities!

Be sure to check out the the very cool walk through aquarium in-store and you can even start your Christmas shopping, since the store offers many great selections for children and adults as well!
